I understand and agree that once approved, I am responsible for my mooring, its placement and its’ material condition. I am further responsible for any damage done by my mooring or any boat attached thereto (with or without permission) should such a boat break loose, the mooring shift, or the mooring drag.

I agree to inform the Harbormaster of any, change of my application information and will update it within this system, any shift of mooring position, or should I no longer desire a mooring in Tiverton waters. I will keep a valid email and phone number to receive information from the harbormaster.
I further agree that any payment is due by March 1st, after March 1st a late fee will be assessed, after May 1st any non-payment will be reason to consider the mooring and its tackle as abandoned and will result in the reassignment of that mooring where applicable.

Also, I agree it is my ultimate responsibility to have a storm plan and follow that plan based on all weather conditions. The Harbormaster, Harbor Commission, and Town of Tiverton bear no responsibility for your boat or mooring before or during a storm event.

I understand that by decision of the Harbormaster, I can be asked to remove my mooring from Town waters at any time. I further agree to keep my mooring and its tackle in good and safe condition and to abide by the mooring and boating rules established by the Town of Tiverton and the State of Rhode Island.
